I have found information these helmets were manufactured for the Police Units guarding the "Amalienborg Palace" residence of the Danish Royal Family and later reconditioned. This type of helmet was not in use by the Danish army.

These are pictures of my Danish Model 39 Helmet. This helmet was reconditioned for use by the Civil Defence organization or "Civilforsvaret"
